How can Patient & Health Care Advocacy help me?
Our nation’s health care system unfortunately has many flaws. It’s difficult for patient’s to get the answers, help, and direction they need to empower and educate themselves to take control of their health, medical bills, or resolve a crisis situation. The e-Center for HealthCare Advocacy does not want you to be alone in your health care crisis any longer. Health insurance companies and hospitals provide Patient Advocates; however, while they may be helpful in some ways, they really work in the best interest of their employer and NOT the patient. The e-Center for HealthCare Advocacy serves to solely help the patient or health consumer on health or medical-related matters – in an effort to empower and educate you to take control and resolve your crisis situation, or simply provide you the information you seek to make the best well-informed health or medical-related decision as possible.
How will the Pathways to Solutions e-Guides help me?
The e-Guides are written in very easy to understand language, and most of them follow a step-by-step format. The e-Guides will educate you on how to resolve your personal health or medical-related situation, instead of hiring a patient advocate service to do the work for you. These types of services typically range from $75-150 per hour, so the e-Guide will save you several hundreds of dollars on hiring the help of someone else to help resolve your denied health claim or assist you with your medical debt, etc. Many of the e-Guides include ‘Tips’ (highlighted in red) at the end of each section, which summarize each category in the Table of Contents for you so that you can easily refer back to the e-Guide at a later date without having to read all the contents a second time. On the Products & Services page, you will find an overview of each e-Guide that explains what it includes and the benefits to you. Many consumer’s have purchased several of the e-Guides just for the comprehensive information on learning how to save significantly on health care or to learn more about a specific topic.
How many pages do the e-Guides have?
Each e-Guide is comprehensive and contains a wealth of information for the consumer, yet they are not ‘books’. The print size is larger (font 12-14), so those with compromised vision can easily read. Most e-Guides are between 25-50 pages and include color photos. They are easy to read and understand, and include a wealth of information for the consumer – everybody can benefit from the information in each e-Guide.
Can I purchase a printed copy of an e-Guide as opposed to an electronic PDF copy?
At this time, the e-Guides are only available as PDF downloads in an effort to keep the cost to the consumer as low as possible. The e-Guides can be printed for your personal use only. For those individuals who strongly prefer a printed and spiral-bound copy, please send us an email and we will make special arrangements to send you a printed copy; however, the cost of the e-Guide will increase due to printing fees and shipping costs. We do not up-charge these costs, we simply bill the consumer our cost of printing and shipping.
How can I obtain additional information for a health or medical-related problem that is not addressed on the website?
The e-Center for HealthCare Advocacy strives to meet every consumer’s needs. Please visit our Contact Us page and let us know how we can serve you better. We will be adding additional e-Guides, N.E.E.D Tools, and Resources on a regular basis, so be sure to check back often to see what additional information is available for you.

What are my chances of appealing my own denied health insurance claim?
Most people don’t understand all the complexities involved with appealing a denied health claim. There are time limits to meet, rules to follow, and getting the help you need to resolve a denied claim can be quite a challenge if you don’t know what steps to take to resolve the issue. Our e-Guide to Appealing a Denied Claim will guide you through the process step-by-step and can potentially save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars depending on the amount of the claim.
I don’t have the financial resources for Patient Advocate services, but your website does not address my crisis situation – what else can I do?
